2024年12月，第一届厦门国际青年艺术季在鼓浪屿开启了首航之旅。50位不同背景、不同领域的中外青年艺术家，奔赴山海，在持续一周的时间，双向奔赴，呈现精彩的全球艺术视觉盛宴。

第一届鼓浪屿国际青年艺术季

2026 年 5 月，第二届国际青年艺术季将再度落地厦门。活动将以鼓浪屿为开篇，向思明、翔安、同安及集美四区延伸拓展，构筑文明互鉴的艺术纽带。通过多元艺术形式，彰显厦门特色、闽南底蕴与中华文化吸引力，激活中外青年的艺术创新潜能，提升中华文化在中外交流中的辐射力。我们热切期盼深耕中外跨文化实践的各界友人加入，以艺术为媒，共促文化交融，合力铸就这场精彩纷呈的艺术盛会。

本届艺术季届将举办展演展映、主题研讨、田野调查和驻地创作等，时间跨度计划从2026年5月持续到6月，活动的具体日程组委会将另行通知。

Xiamen （Kulangsu） International Emerging Art Festival, which began on Kulangsu Island on December 2024, was a week-long visual art event that showcased the combined efforts of fifty young artists from various areas and backgrounds.

In May 2026, the 2nd Xiamen International Emerging Art Festival will once again take root on Kulangsu Island. Centered on this iconic isle and expanding outward to Siming, Xiang'an, Tongan and Jimei Districts, the event will build an artistic bond for cross-cultural mutual appreciation. Leveraging diverse artistic forms, it will showcase Xiamen’s unique features, the rich legacy of Southern Fujian, and the appeal of Chinese culture, while unlocking the innovative vitality of youth art and boosting the global resonance of Chinese culture in Sino-foreign interactions. We warmly welcome all friends dedicated to cross-cultural practices to join us. With art as our bridge, we will promote cultural integration and co-curate a spectacular artistic feast.

A rich array of activities will be highlighted in this art festival, ranging from exhibitions, live performances and screenings to thematic forums, field expeditions, and residency creation projects. Staged from May to June 2026, the full schedule of the event will be promulgated independently by the organizing committee.
